How to play iSAI
iSAI is a Tamil song guessing game — a Tamil Heardle. You hear a fraction of a second of a Tamil film song and try to name it before the clip has to grow.
- 1
Press play
The first attempt gives you half a second of a Tamil film song — usually the very start of the track. Play it as many times as you like; replaying costs nothing.
- 2
Search and guess
Type into the search bar and pick a song from the list. You can search by song title, movie name, or artist, and the search is typo tolerant, so "vinnaithandi" still finds "Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa".

Wrong guesses unlock more audio
Each wrong guess or skip burns one attempt and unlocks a longer clip: 0.5s, then 1s, 2s, 4s and finally 8s. The Skip button sits right next to Play and always says how much audio it unlocks.

Finish in five
Classic mode gives you five attempts. Get it right and the result card shows the song, the artwork and your score grid, which you can share in one tap.
Classic mode
Five attempts on a single random Tamil song. Clip lengths run 0.5s, 1s, 2s, 4s and 8s. Your played count, win percentage, current streak, best streak and guess distribution are saved on your device and shown under the trophy icon.
Speedrun mode
Three attempts per song and clips never go past two seconds. Every correct answer loads the next song immediately and adds to your streak. One wrong answer ends the run.
Multiplayer mode
Enter a player name, create a room, and share the two-digit code. Everyone who joins hears the same song, and the leaderboard ranks players live — winners first, ordered by how few attempts they used. Your name is remembered on your device, so your results stay attached to you across rounds.
Scoring and sharing
Your round is summarised as a row of markers — green for correct, red for wrong, grey for skipped. Sharing sends a plain "3/5" style score, so nothing spoils the song for the next player.
